WESTMED TOURS, which is the Tour Operating Department, and WESTMED
ENTERTAINMENTS, the Entertainment Department, are both directly managed by
CEMAR AGENCY NETWORK Head Office in Genoa.
We organise sightseeing tours, personalised and innovative excursions, on
board and pier shows, first-class hotel bookings. We use top-class
transport and the most experienced professional guides, we chose only the
best venues for lunches and refreshments, we tailor the most unusual
requirements of our clients.
We manage meticulously planned turnarounds which offer passengers a
comfortable and stress free beginning and end to their cruising holiday.
The following are some of the handling operations:
Pre check-in for groups flying by regular flights, special flights and
charters. Close
co-operation with airport operators in order to pre-issue boarding cards
and supply
tags for luggage labelling, supply information to the cruise staff about
the proper
pre check-in procedures. Bonded luggage handling and transportation.
Exclusive tours pre and post embarkation or disembarkation (if time
available) with
stops for refreshments at typical cafes or inns.
All types of pre- and post-cruise arrangements: hotel reservation in
luxury, first
or second class hotels; meet and greet / bye and fly assistance at
airport or pier;
hospitality desks at hotels; exclusive escorted transfers by limousine,
Mercedes,
minibus, coach, private boat and launch.
Luggage transportation to/from railway station, porterage and storage in
case
of late train departure, transfers, assistance, meet and greet. Luggage
storage in
port for passengers' early arrival or late departure.
Shuttle services from pier to down town, beaches, shopping arcades, sport
facilities, etc.
Hospitality desks onboard to assist passengers, supplying touristical
information
and city maps.
Cost reduction as we can also operate in the excursions sector with our
excursion
department (Westmed Tours, 100% owned by CEMAR SRL- type "A" license for tour
operator, in our name, covering the whole of Italy (very few shipping
agencies can work
as tour operators, they usually sub-contract business without supervising).
All the above services are always effectively supervised and closely
monitored by our staff in co-operation with the cruise staff of the vessel.
